We want your old AFOs!

We will be able to accept AFOs, SMOs, TLSO jackets, and HANDSPLINTS!

 An Orphan’s Wish will also accept Dennis-Brown Bars/shoes

and any Ponseti Braces we can collect.

Do you have a box, bag, or drawer filled with AFOs that your child has outgrown? 

Would you like to help an orphaned child that otherwise may not have bracing

 available?   The Convention Committee and Board of Directors of AMCSI would like

 to ask for your assistance in a community service project.

We will provide collection boxes near the

 Registration Table!

We are partnering with An Orphan’s Wish (www.anorphanswish.org) located in

 Guangxi, China. The children they serve receive individualized medical care from

 Ponseti trained professionals.

  The Staff at An Orphan’s Wish will modify donated braces to fit the children in their

 care.   In the USA, recycling custom braces is not considered, but in countries where

 basic medical care is often beyond the means of the majority of the people,

 especially an orphan, a modified brace is better than no brace at all.

Please consider donating your outgrown braces.
